Get To Know Taylor Hill
The Zoe Report: You’ve just been named the face of VS Tease. Can you tell us what you like about Tease and what you look for in a fragrance?
Taylor Hill: Tease is exactly what I look for in a fragrance. It’s warm, subtle and a little bit flirty.
TZR: You grew up in Colorado and are an avid snowboarder. Are there any beauty tricks you use to keep your skin safe during the cold temperatures?
TH: Coconut oil is such a great way to keep skin hydrated and prevent it from getting dry and cracked.
TZR: You have the opportunity to work with some of the most talented makeup artists in the business and once revealed that you enjoy doing your own makeup pretty often. Are there any tricks that you’ve learned along the way from the pros?
TH: I’ve learned to blend, blend, blend and then blend some more.
TZR: Are there any beauty products you can’t leave the house without?
TH: Definitely lip balm. It’s a necessity with all the climate changes.
TZR: What’s the craziest beauty treatment you’ve ever received?
TH: I think an oxygen facial was probably the craziest treatment I’ve gotten. It freaked me out a little and I didn’t know what was happening, but I really liked it!
TZR: You recently walked in the Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show. How did you manage to stay confident on the runway knowing the world would be watching?
TH: All the girls and I got in a circle backstage and screamed as long as we could and I think that helped to get the nerves out for me. It sounds a little crazy but definitely helps!
TZR: You’ve managed to gather millions of followers on Instagram. Do you think social media has helped your modeling career in any way?
TH: Absolutely! I think it’s kind of the new form of modeling, and a lot of clients will start booking you based off what they see on your social media platforms.
TZR: Is there any advice you wish you could’ve been given before your modeling career took off?
TH: I think the best advice I could have gotten or given to someone else is to be confident, be yourself and always stay humble.
