How It All Went Down
Pharrell made sure to personally greet every fan that showed up to buy his first perfume.
"Fragrance is the paint of the air," says Pharrell. "To work with masters who know how to turn an idea and ambition and bring it to fruition is nothing short of alchemy."
Celebrity DJ Samantha Ronson curated a set list heavy with Pharrell's top songs—naturally.
"I respect everybody who helped do this—from the chemists for having the idea to [artist] KAWS for designing the bottle to [Comme des Garçons'] Rei Kawakubo and Adrian Joffe for giving me the opportunity to work with their label. It’s all them. I’m just the lucky guy in the middle."

As if a meet-and-greet with tons of screaming fans wasn't enough, Pharrell squeezed in time to receive his star on the Hollywood Walk Of Fame on the same day. He tells us, "I am grateful for what I have, and I’m looking forward to the future."
