The 3 Party Hair Looks You Need From Now Until NYE

by Stephanie Montes

Our favorite part of soiree season is actually the primping that happens before the parties begin. In fact, we get so excited about getting ready that we’ve already charted our night-out hair looks for the rest of the year—each of which includes the Lelet NY Swarovski Crystal Hair Pin from our winter Box of Style. These 3 dos will take you from office Christmas party through New Year’s countdown without feeling repetitive. Here’s how to make them your own. Bring it on, social agenda.

Ladylike Bun

On blow-dried hair, use a 1-inch wand to curl strands in alternating directions. Spritz with a texturizing spray to create loose, tousled waves. Leaving out a 2-inch section on either side of your center part, pull hair into a low ponytail and secure with an elastic. Braid the ponytail and pull sections apart to thicken the plaits. Wrap the braid into a loose bun and pin. Pull front sections back, twist and pin. Finish with a crystal embellishment.

Modern Ponytail

Use a 1-inch wand to curl blow-dried hair in alternating directions. Spritz with a texturizing spray to create loose, tousled waves. Tease hair at the crown with a comb for added lift. Take a 2-inch section of hair from the front right side of crown, twist back and pin. Repeat on the opposite side and alternate until all sections are pinned. Don't forget to top it off with a sparkly hair pin.

Boho Twist

Use a 1-inch wand to curl blow-dried hair in alternating directions. Spritz with a texturizing spray to create loose, tousled waves. Part hair down the middle. Grab a 1-inch section of hair from the front, twist it back and secure with a bobby pin. Repeat on the other side and pin. Lastly, add some bling.
