It seems as if every single day there’s a new Instagram makeup hack that’s taking over our feeds (and real-life conversations). We’ll be the first to admit that a lot of the time we get tired of seeing makeup application taken to insane levels, but there are a few diamonds in the rough. One video that we literally can’t stop watching involves a genius (and we mean genius) hack for perfecting winged liner.
Self-trained makeup artist RubiiT (aka rubiitofficial), shared a tutorial of her applying eyeliner with a set of tweezers. Yes, you read that correctly—actual tweezers. First of all, someone needs to give her an award for even thinking of such a creative idea. Secondly, after watching the video you’ll see that her trick actually works.
She applies the pigment from a felt pen directly onto the closed tweezer edges, which she then presses against the corner of her eye pointing towards the end of her eyebrow. She goes on to fill in the resulting template with eyeliner, and the final result is a clean, perfectly winged look.
