Bright Tights Big City

Jean Paul Gaultier Fishnet Panel Tights

When recently itemizing my autumn list of can’t-live-without accessories, I was compelled to add a thing (ok, many things) to it. You see, fashion brainiac Jean Paul Gaultier introduced hosiery into his repertoire this season. After looking at pictures of them, well, one thing led to another…now I own four pairs.

I’ve always been a huge proponent to hosiery. As a stylist, I use tights to shape the body and create the illusion of longer legs. They immediately make any woman feel more sexy. This fall, I urge you to swap out your solid black stockings for something patterned, colorful or paneled like these. A pair of striking tights will spice up any outfit, be it black satin shorts and a destroyed tee or floral dress (bonus points for autumnizing your summer wardrobe!). You can even go for a full-on JPG sultry look by pairing some with a body-conscious dress or a large, belted cape jacket and of course, higher than high heels. One accessory…endless possibilities. xoRZ
