Brace yourselves, Big Little Lies fans: We've got some news that might be able to hold you over until the hit TV series makes its way back to your screens. Blake Lively, personification of all that is beautiful in Hollywood, is set to star in The Husband's Secret, a big-screen adaptation of Liane Moriarty's eponymous murder-mystery novel—and yes, that's the same Liane Moriarty who authored Big Little Lies. (Deep breaths.)

Blake, who is also executive-producing the upcoming film, will play Cecilia Fitzpatrick, a suburbanite who discovers a letter from her husband that isn't meant to be opened until his death. The catch? He's still alive, and the letter reveals a horrifying secret he's been hiding for years.

We're already at the edge of our seats—and with her experience portraying secret-ridden socialite Serena van der Woodsen in Gossip Girl, we can't imagine a better actress than Blake to play the part.

Though a director and release date have yet to be determined, CBS Films has already fast-tracked the production—because lies. And murder. In the meantime, we're just gonna have to survive by rewatching BLL.
