Kristen Stewart’s Newest Project Isn’t What You’d Expect

It’s not the first time she’s dabbled in the music industry, but after starring as a renegade bad girl in a gritty music video for the Rolling Stones in 2016, Kristen Stewart is ready to step behind the camera for a new project with cool-kid synth pop band Chvrches. And it’s not just any music video: The actress teased that it’ll have a connection to Planned Parenthood, an organization she’s eager to support with the help of one of her favorite bands.

“I had been asking them to let me do something for them for a while. They’re so good,” Kristen told the Los Angeles Times. “I ended up with a pretty simple but definitive narrative arc that highlights the cause in a sweet but quiet and confronting way.”

Her announcement came after a photo of John Legend, Zach Galifianakis and St. Vincent huddled around a piano made the rounds on Twitter, as they are also confirmed to be working on a project for Planned Parenthood.

It’s unclear if Kristen’s Planned Parenthood project is the same as John Legend’s, but we can only hope so. Maybe this collaboration will evolve into a full-blown musical with all our favorite celebs. (Can someone bring in Chrissy Teigen please?)
