Serena Williams Revealed Her Engagement Ring In The Most Unassuming Way

Serena Williams just got engaged to Reddit co-founder Alexis Ohanian. So what better way to announce it than on the social news platform itself? Earlier this week, the tennis queen teased fans with a sneak peek of her taco engagement ring, which had us begging for the real McCoy. “It was a corn tortilla, of course, in case you were wondering,” she wrote.

But in true Serena fashion—that is, she never disappoints—we were able to get a glimpse of the massive diamond in a photo she posted on Reddit of herself and her new beau. Wearing a tulle skirt and Nikes, she had her hand up to her man’s chest, and we couldn’t take our eyes off of that ring finger.

The couple officially revealed their engagement on December 29 in a post Serena shared on the site’s “I Said Yes” thread. (Excerpt: “I came home/A little late/Someone had a bag packed for me/And a carriage awaited.) To which Alexis replied, “And you made me the happiest man on the planet.” Can we say #couplegoals?
