The Most Stylish Couples On The 2018 Met Gala Red Carpet

by Nicky Deam

What’s better than an A-list costume party? Not much, which is why we hang on every moment of the Met gala’s red carpet (and then incessantly refresh our social media feeds for glimpses inside the party). This year was one for the books, with Katy Perry gracing the carpet in wings that would make a Victoria’s Secret model jealous and Cindy Crawford proving that you can absolutely wear a red leather gown into your fifties. Of course we also adore seeing star couples stepping out together, which is why we’ve rounded up a few of our favorite duos from the night.

Amal Clooney & George Clooney

As one of the hosts, Amal needed to impress. Donning a full-skirted train over stove-pipe pants, with her dashing husband in tow, she most certainly did.

Gisele Bundchen & Tom Brady

Regulars on the Met gala carpet, Gisele and Tom Brady are the poster children of tanned, toned glamour.

Kesha Ward & 2 Chainz

The outrageous ensembles that grace the Met gala mean that it takes a lot to shock onlookers. 2 Chainz managed to upstage Rihanna's papal ensemble by proposing to his wife, Kesha Ward, with a new ring—which is way better than our average date night.

Irina Shayk & Bradley Cooper

The relatively camera-shy couple arrived quietly, which is no small feat given the head-turning golden gown chosen by Irina.

Scarlett Johannson & Colin Jost

They recently confirmed their relationship at the LA premiere of The Avengers: Infinity War and Scarlett just appeared on SNL where Colin is a host of 'Weekend Update'.

Hailey Baldwin & Shawn Mendes

The young couple chose the Met gala for their first red carpet outing together, both wearing Tommy Hilfiger.
