The Hilarious Way Amy Schumer Unveiled Her Vanity Fair Cover

Jason Merritt

While we’d expect nothing less from the comedian, we’re grateful to her for starting our week with a giggle. To announce her May cover of Vanity Fair, Amy took to Instagram and posted an image of Game of Thrones character Melisandre (who for those not following the cult show with religious fervor is a gnarled sorceress well over the age of 100).

Of course she then posted real images from the editorial, including a tongue-in-cheek pose of her atop a golden rocket and the stunning cover in which she wears the requisite Vanity Fair cover uniform; a corset. Looking good, Amy.
