How To Do Spring Break Like An Adult

by The Zoe Report

Okay, so we’re not in college anymore but that doesn’t mean we don’t deserve a break this spring. While we’re forgoing the late-night rounds of beer pong we can still appreciate the opportunity to let loose and kick back. Here, 7 spring break destinations tested and approved by Team Zoe.

Laguna Beach, California

"The Montage Laguna Beach is such an amazing property—it's right on the beach, has a massive pool with an ocean view and their spa is top notch. It's the perfect destination for a few days of R&R."

San Diego, California

"I love going to San Diego during a long weekend. It's a relaxing escape from LA with its quintessential chilled out, west coast atmosphere. Lunch and go to the beach with friends during the day then head out to downtown's Gaslamp Quarter in the evening. From restaurants, to bars and clubs—everything is so close together it makes hopping around easy."

Ojai, California

"Ojai feels like a million miles from the bustle of LA but is actually just a short drive away. Whether you peruse the farmer's market, take a hike to Meditation Mount or enjoy a local wine tasting, you're in for a totally relaxing weekend."

Aspen, Colorado

“I visit Snowmass/Aspen every year for the best spring skiing. After hitting the slopes all day, there’s nothing like following up with a relaxing steam at the Snowmass Club and a nightcap at Hotel Jerome. And of course, you can’t beat the (window) shopping in downtown Aspen."

Maui, Hawaii

"Hawaii is such an escape and I am obsessed with Andaz Maui at Wailea Resort. Not only are the sunsets and lush landscapes breathtaking but the hotel makes it so easy (and all-inclusive with the resort fee) to rent snorkeling, paddle boarding and Go-Pro gear and participate in yoga, lei-making and other fun classes on the property."

Playa Del Carmen, Mexico

"The Banyan Tree Mayakoba in Playa Del Carmen is impeccable. The private villas, amazing staff and stunning, jungle-like property make it the epitome of a serene getaway."

Rio de Janeiro, Brazil

"Mine's a little intense, but I love Rio de Janeiro! It's super cheap—relative to normal prices—to fly there right now (around $600 roundtrip from LAX), and the weather is still sunny and hot."
