The Food

"Fresh seafood dishes and the most delicious pastas imaginable dominate the menus in Capri. We couldn't get enough of the lemon linguine from our favorite restaurant on the island, Restaurante Da Paolino."

Cars aren't allowed on most of the roads, which forces you to slow down and enjoy the surrounding beauty.

The Shopping

"Shopping in Capri is unlike anywhere else in the world. The island houses some of the greatest linen stores in the world, plus must-visit designer boutiques located in quaint buildings alongside 'mom' and 'pop' shops. We found it impossible to leave the island empty-handed; picking up a pair of handmade leather Capri sandals was a must."

A uniform of brightly printed cover-ups and bejeweled sandals is the epitome of glamour and wearability.

The Beaches

"Since the island is essentially a giant rock in the middle of the Mediterranean, Capri's "beaches" are more like flat areas along the water with small cliffs you can dive off. With a lack of proper beaches, beach clubs tend to be the way to go. Our favorite beach club was the fabulous La Fontelina, where Dolce & Gabbana held their latest couture show."

Whether you're climbing the 1500-year-old Phoenician stairs, rowing through the Blue Grotto, or just taking a sunset stroll back to your hotel, there’s no escaping the charming simplicity of Capri is inescapable.
