You’ve aced the interview and landed the position, but neither of these do anything to ease the nerves that come with your first day at a new job. If you think you’re alone in this struggle, don’t fret. Apparently, even the most high-profile celebrities understand the stress. Enter: Angelina Jolie.

The actress, director and special envoy to the United Nations prepared for her first lecture as a visiting professor at the London School of Economics and Political Science, and while she’s tackled major blockbusters, visited war-torn nations and won an Academy Award, Angelina admitted to being anxious about her new gig.

“I’m a little nervous, feeling butterflies,” she told the Evening Standard. “I hope I do well. This is very important to me.”

She spoke with students at the LSE’s Centre for Women, Peace and Security about her campaign to stop sexual violence in regions of conflict as well as her personal experience visiting these countries. As part of her role, Angelina will be delivering guest lectures, engaging in workshops and doing research for the school.

The next time you feel nervous, try re-framing it as excitement, à la Angie, to harness that energy in a positive way.
