It looks like the rose gold era is coming to an end, starting with our beloved iPhones. The highly anticipated new prototypes are here, and there’s no sight of the millennial-beloved color. According to a trusted securities analyst, the upcoming iPhone 8—expected to be released in September—will be available in only three colors: black, silver and gold. However, there’s a silver—or should we say gold—lining: The latter model features a slightly coppery bronze finish. Only time will tell if the new shade lives up to its predecessor’s hype; in the meantime, we’re mourning your loss, rose gold.
