Trend or Treat?

While I take fashion very seriously—it is my life—I still insist on incorporating elements of play into my attire as often as possible. Fashion is meant to be fun! Louis Vuitton reminded us all of this when they sent bunny ears designed by Stephen Jones down the fall runway. What better time to call attention to them than Halloween?

You may remember the bunny ears on Madonna at the 2009 CFDA Awards…well these are the slightly smaller, more wearable version. They will literally take any outfit to new heights. Louis Vuitton isn’t the only designer to observe fanciful accessories this season—Lanvin’s fall runway also presented a slew of playful headpieces. Don’t have a Halloween costume yet? Throw some whimsical ears on with a black leotard, high- heeled mary-janes and a sequined jacket…or channel your innner flapper with a feather hair accessory, fringe dress and red lips.
