George And Amal Clooney’s First Post-Baby Red-Carpet Moment Was Perfection

Just when we thought we’d finally caught our breath from the insanely chic Ermanno Scervino gown Amal Clooney wore on arrival to the Venice Film Festival on Thursday—that kind of effortless on a water taxi is only something she could pull off, by the way—our minds have once again been blown. Saturday, when the festival premiered hubby George’s film Suburbicon, the couple made their first red carpet appearance together since the birth of twins Ella and Alexander, and to say it was worth the wait is a massive understatement. We’ve loved Amal’s style since we first laid eyes on the accomplished human rights lawyer, but her lilac chiffon Versace gown—and a few new post-baby curves—had her looking better than ever. And George always wears a tux to perfection, but the love between these two takes them both to a new level. Parenthood looks damn good on this pair.
