Princesses in general, aren’t known for their accessible accessories. When you think of royals like the Duchess of Cambridge, her accessories game is pretty much ruled by her incredible sapphire engagement ring which belonged to the beloved late Princess Diana. (Other accessories that come to mind include the historical diamond tiaras she has donned at various state dinners.) So when Kate Middleton steps out wearing something (read: anything!) we can potentially afford, we take note. For her appearance at the RHS Chelsea Flower Show in London, Kate paired a kelly green belted dress with practical nude leather pumps and a box clutch in a coordinating hue. Both accessories are from L.K. Bennett—a favorite of the Duchess—and ring in under $300 each. Whether you choose to snap up these actual accessories before they sell out, or copy the look at your local Zara—it’s good to be reminded of the virtues of neutral staples (they go with everything, make your legs look longer, etc.). In the meantime, we’re thrilled the princess subscribes to our high-low mix of fashion.
