About The Collection

How It Started

The Poppy Bikini in Pink ($188)

"It all began when a great friend of mine gifted me a Solid & Striped bikini. I fell bonkers in love with it, and suddenly I wanted every style from that season. I ended up giving all my hens (bridesmaids) a bikini, and then a mutual friend of [the label's founder] Isaac [Ross] and mine put us in touch."

Poppy's Inspiration

"I wanted to pay homage to my all-time favorite style icon, Alabama Worley from True Romance, so I came up with a print that mirrored her. I was also inspired by Miami Vice and Saved by the Bell—a mix of kitsch and cool."

The Design Process

Wearing The Poppy Maillot in Blue & White ($188)

"We came up with the bandeau, bikini and one-piece maillot, as I wanted to cater to all body shapes. Then for the colors, we wanted something vibrant but wearable, so we went for a bright blue, coral pink and cream. Then finally, we came up with the flamingo-print!"

I'm mad about the sunshine, so we gave the bandeau a removable strap, and we gave the bikini straps that are easy to tie around your back.

Her Favorite Suits

The Poppy Maillot in Flamingo Print ($198)

"I'm obsessed with the flamingo one-piece maillot, which I'd wear with a pair of denim cut-offs and a Panama hat. I also love the bikini in coral—it does wonders for your boobs. I'd wear this with a kimono over the top and white converse."
