Sarah Jessica Parker Is Opening Her First Boutique In This Unexpected City
Unlike her alter ego Carrie Bradshaw, Sarah Jessica Parker is looking outside of New York City to build her fashion kingdom. The actress-turned-designer took to Instagram to reveal the opening of her first brick-and-mortar boutique at casino-resort MGM National Harbor in Maryland—just minutes away from Washington, D.C. While we have yet to see what the store will look like, SJP gave fans a peek of what to expect from her collection’s standalone.
“It’s been very exciting to have been involved in all steps of the process, from on-site construction visits to the actual layout and design of our boutique,” she said in a press release. “I’m honored to be included in this massive undertaking, and I’m very much looking forward to celebrating in December. Because perhaps then I will believe it’s real.”
And of course we’re expecting that real-life Carrie Bradshaw experience. Starting December 9, fashion girls everywhere can shop SJP shoes, bags, accessories and her perfect line of LBDs, with most items retailing for under $700. Time to book your Amtrak ticket, ladies.
