Taylor Swift Grosses Forbes’ Highest Paid Celeb List, Wears An $88 Dress
It’s no secret Taylor Swift is a female on top of the music industry and now she’s officially number one. The entertainer has been named by Forbes as the world’s highest grossing musician, earning $170 million from June 2015 to June 2016 (NBD) largely thanks to five million copies of her album 1989 sold in the US plus highly profitable endorsements with Keds, Diet Coke and Apple which more than doubled the mega bucks she brought in the previous year (aka, $80 million). It’s thrilling to have a woman on top of such a prestigious list, but in case you thought this makes Tay completely unrelatable, we’ve keyed in on a reason the superstar maintains a bit of normalcy, namely, her $88 dress. Stepping out in a faux-wrap design by Talula, the fluttery sleeves, moody floral print and ultra-feminine shape are perfect for summer, not to mention a universally flattering style for many shapes. And while the gorgeous frock is still available at Aritzia, we also found a similar style for those who prefer to show little more skin and get ahead of the inevitable sell out of Tays exact style.
