In Full Bloom

by The Zoe Report

Tomorrow is the first official day of spring, and I am welcoming it with a season appropriate maxi-dress, my uniform excessories and a fresh bouquet of flowers. As someone who gravitates toward hydrangeas, roses, calla lilies and peonies—all in white or pale tones—I am constantly inspired by Jeff Leatham’s beautiful designs. A true floral artist, he knows exactly how to arrange flowers in a way that complements a space, and does not overpower.

With a resume that is untouchable by most of the individuals in his field, Jeff Leatham (currently the artistic director of the Four Season Hotel George V in Paris) has been commissioned by everyone from Madonna to the Burberry fashion house to design bold and exquisite floral arrangements. To brighten things up this spring, draw inspiration from his work—either by browsing his site or viewing an episode of his show, Flowers Uncut, on TLC—for some DIY flower ideas for your home. My personal flower mantra? You can never go wrong with hydrangeas 🙂 xoRZ
