LACMA Gala: Rachel’s Night At The Museum

Over the weekend, our ultra-glam Editor-in-Chief joined a slew of A-list members of the fashion, art and entertainment industries to fete artist Barbara Kruger and filmmaker Quentin Tarantino at the Los Angeles County Museum of Art’s (LACMA) 4th annual Art+Film Gala, presented by Gucci. The world-class museum served as a dramatic backdrop for the star-studded event which raised funds for the organization’s initiative to make film a key part of its curatorial programming as well as for its exhibitions, acquisitions and educational programs. The evening offered endless sartorial eye candy and drool-worthy glitz and glamour. Lucky for us, Rachel was happy to share her snaps of the evening. Belle Of The Ball

"I had been wanting to wear this Valentino gown for a while, and this felt like the right night to go for it! I almost jumped into a black dress, but when I put on my pink dress Skyler looked up and said, 'Wow mama, you look like a beautiful princess!' So how could I change?"

All In The Details

"I almost always wear David Webb jewels for big events—they add the perfect amount of drama and glamour!"

Date Night

"It was a magical, clear autumn night in LA, and LACMA has never looked more beautiful. It was the perfect night to dress up for date night with Rodger."

Fun-Loving Friends

"We had a truly lovely LA night seated at a wonderful table with our close friends Derek Blasberg, Jennifer Meyer, Dasha Zhukova and several others. We spent the whole night catching up and laughing over wonderful food and wine."

Art Appreciation

"It was truly incredible to see the merging of art and film with both Barbara Kruger—one of my favorite artists—and the brilliant filmmaker Quentin Tarantino honored by LACMA and the museum's CEO and director Michael Govan."
