H&M’s Newest Fashion-Girl Brand Looks So Expensive

H&M consistently offers trend-forward items at affordable prices, but historically it isn’t where we go for expensive-looking essentials. That’s about to change with its upcoming sister brand Arket, which is scheduled to launch on August 25. According to the site, “designers, buyers, pattern makers, writers, architects, chefs and others have been working at the head office and studio in Stockholm since the winter of 2015 to build a modern-day market for essential things.” No further information on what the architects and chefs have been contributing but we’re dreaming big. Anyway, here’s a sneak peek at the clothing, which we’re happy to report looks simple and elevated—just how we like our essentials.
