In the rapidly evolving world of fashion—where young designers are taking the helm at storied fashion houses and gender fluidity is enjoying more acceptance—one of our favorite new trends is the willingness and capacity of designers to expand into new categories. The most recent iteration being fine-jewelry designer Jennifer Meyer announcing her first foray into ready-to-wear. In honor of her brand’s 10th anniversary she has collaborated with Barneys New York to design a capsule of casual, California-chic separates ideal for pairing with her famous pavé jewelry. The 13-piece collection includes a suede skirt, printed boho dress and cashmere cardigan, all of which we can’t wait to snap up when it becomes available this month. Here’s hoping her foray into ready-to-wear doesn’t end here.
