Fairytale Fashion

Always curious to know who and what will be the next big thing in fashion, we came to an abrupt halt upon discovering designer Lorry Newhouse. A New York artist-turned-designer, Newhouse knocked it out of the park on her first swing with a 35-piece collection worth swooning over—read: timeless silhouettes, dazzling fabrics and immaculate construction. No doubt about it, these clothes are set for storybook stardom.

Spotlighting three of our favorite looks—a task that is easier said than done!—we are exceptionally taken with the Stephanie (hand beaded with blue and green sequins), Charlotte (gold lame) and Rita (hand beaded with silver sequins and glass beads) gowns, all featuring Newhouse’s signature long sleeve profile. When glancing at each exquisite number, one can’t help but picture the whole fairytale ensemble, complete with red lipstick, a box clutch and platform pumps.
