It’s Official: Kids Clothes Are Now Cooler Than Adult Clothes

Shopping for kids can seem impossible, especially since most little ones these days are crazy sophisticated (read: babies that know how to use iPads). Since it’s always important to arrive at a birthday party with a gift in hand, these new launches from J. Crew, Margherita Missoni, and Philipp Plein are the answer for how to land the Auntie Of The Year award.

Little Gems

Little Mayhem x J. Crew

Mayhem is the name of the four-year-old Instagram sensation who captured the attention of the fashion world by recreating her favorite red-carpet dresses in her size—out of paper! J. Crew tapped the prodigy to design a capsule collection for girls ages 2 to 16—the line launched this week and naturally, includes all the biggest trends for spring from tassels to palm prints.

Margherita Kids

Margherita Missoni, the granddaughter of the founders of the iconic Italian fashion house, launched Margherita Kids this spring. Chock-full of sweet prints and nautical stripes, the new collection is sure to become a household name among chic moms and aunties alike.

Philipp Plein Junior

For the launch of his Spring 2015 kids' line, designer Philipp Plein staged a pirate-themed runway show in Milan with parades of little ones clad in tropical island prints. The vibrant collection is made for children ages 4-12, and yes, we too wish this appliqué jean jacket came in our size!
