The Winter Trend That’s Still Going Strong For Spring

We can guarantee one of the most common thoughts that races through every woman’s mind is—what the heck do I wear? We often find ourselves blankly staring at our closets trying to compile an outfit (that doesn’t involve jeans and a tee) we’re excited about. That’s why we’re lending inspiration via weekly ideas on stylish ensembles to help step up your sartorial game.

Spring is obviously the time to break out brighter colors, and for the upcoming season we’re predicting monochrome looks in vibrant palettes will still be huge (as seen on the runways of Tibi, Victoria Beckham and Michael Kors). We’re talking shades of lilac, green and blue worn top to toe for a bold, head-turning result that’s fashion-forward and street-style-inspired. It’s undeniably fresh and cool. See how to pull off the fashion-girl trend ahead for every day.

Top To Toe

Blue

Blue shades are elegant and some of the easiest colors to pull off in monochrome form. Start with a powder-blue fitted sweater with dark indigo denim. Top off with a light navy blue coat. Accessorize with a cool-toned pair of lace-up boots and a bucket bag.

Green

Step out of your comfort zone and try out neon green. Layer a chunky sweater over a slip dress. Complete with metallic slides, a structured bag and tortoiseshell sunnies.

Lavender

Wear spring's It color via a matching blouse-and-trouser set. Keep it clean and sleek with white pointed-toe mules and lend some warm-weather vibes with a raffia bag. Adorn with dangly earrings and a cocktail ring.
