Three High-End Holiday Style Trends to Shop Now at Marshalls

Your official Holiday Party Attire report is here.

Written by Erin Cunningham

Each year, we count down the days until the holiday season arrives — only for it to make its dramatic debut seemingly out of nowhere. But that’s okay: You may not have started prepping your wardrobe for the busyness about to head your way, but we have. We’ve done all of the heavy lifting, identified three major trends for the months to come, and found one destination where you can stock up on it all.

Marshalls knows that the holidays are just around the corner, which is why they have everything you need to update your closet with party-ready looks. At your local store, you can nab the chicest brands and designers at an incredible price. That means you don’t need to compromise on budget or style when it comes to buying a new look for celebratory cocktails with colleagues, the white elephant exchange with your BFFs, and everything in between. Plus, their selection includes pieces that embody this season’s must-haves, so you’ll be ahead of the curve — and looking good while doing it.

Below, find TZR Executive Editor Faith Xue’s favorite takes on three major holiday looks. At Marshalls, ultra-luxe fabrics, captivating jewel tones, and the most extra (in the best way) embellishments are just some of the trends waiting to be made your own. Happy holidays (but really, happy shopping)!

1) Luxe Fabrics

“Go luxe with high-end fabrics,” says Xue, who makes the trending look completely her own with a pink coordinating set. While Xue opted for a satin finish herself, you can achieve an equally elevated finish in other tactile textures, like soft velvet, buttery faux leather, and smooth silk.

No matter how you interpret the luxe fabric look, from a shimmery dress to (in Xue’s case) sleek suiting separates, you’ll be putting a glamorous spin on holiday dressing. All eyes will be on you, no doubt.

2) Jewel Tones

“Stand out with a jewel toned look,” suggests Xue, who steals the style spotlight in a rich teal strapless top and skirt. Xue turns the look all the way up with even more unexpected design details, pointing out how “rhinestones and tulle make this topaz outfit pop.”

Go for a sumptuous teal shade like Xue, or perhaps choose a deep ruby red or emerald green. Regardless of which jewel tones you choose, these colors are guaranteed to add instant elegance.

3) Elevated Embellishments

Embrace embellishments in all their many forms, from glitzy sequins to sparkly gemstone accents. Plus, the trend is super easy to style alongside other favorite holiday staples. “Elevated embellishments, like this head-to-toe sequin look, pair perfectly with a sharp blazer,” points out Xue.

Whether you cover your entire look in sequins, like Xue expertly does, or opt for a rhinestone-encrusted bag instead, step out with the knowledge that you’re shining your brightest this holiday.

No matter where the season of festivities finds you, discover holiday-ready looks for every kind of soirée at your local Marshalls.
