Khloe Kardashian has never been better. She released her self-help book “Strong Looks Better Naked”, designed her denim line Good American and will premiere her new show “Revenge Body with Khloé Kardashian” next month. But it wasn’t always like this for the reality star. In an interview with Health magazine, Khloe admitted to hitting a low point in her life as she dealt with her divorce from Lamar Odom and ended up using food as an outlet to cope with her pain.
“I had turned to food and had an unhealthy relationship with food my whole life, and I was like, ‘Food has never helped me lose weight,'” she said. That’s when she decided to undergo a body transformation and channel that grief into fitness, which started with joining Equinox and training with Gunnar Peterson.
Taking baby steps, she went both carb- and dairy-free, but she also treated herself every once in a while. “I do believe that if you’re having a craving, don’t deprive yourself—everything in moderation,” she said. And even though she’s at peak physical form, Khloe said she still has to deal with haters and critics. “I get body-shamed now that I work out!” she said. “But I don’t care what weight I am. It’s genuinely about me being healthy.”
