Offset a matte formula with a bit of gloss on top to soften the intensity.

The ombre trend is still going strong…this time in lip color! Team Zoe staffer Kristi Mikesky wanted to give the look a try, but with a glossy update. Starting with a coat of Kiss Me Coral, she then applied gloss in Pink Pop just to the very inside of the mouth for a 3D effect.

After swooning over the matte tangerine lips from Rag & Bone’s spring show, Team Zoe staffer Nicole Cottral wanted to try the trend herself! Scaling back on the color for more suitable daily wear, she chose a classic pink—Revlon’s Love That Pink—as her shade du jour and blotted lips with a tissue to set the color and remove shine.
