A Strong Start To Celeb Street Style At NYFW

If your favorite fashion-loving celebs aren’t still at the Venice Film Festival, there’s a good chance that they’re in the Big Apple for eight days of style and schmoozing. With parties and shows underway, we’ve already seen some statement looks from the major A-listers in attendance. Some of these stylish stars are still rocking summer trends (who can blame them in this humidity), but referencing fall through strategic accessories and beauty choices. Others have gone full autumnal in black leather and tall boots. We can’t argue with either strategy. Below, some of our favorite looks from NYFW thus far.

Gigi Hadid

Gigi Hadid took an optimistic approach to Thursday's gloomy weather in an adorable coral romper, round shades and a glowing summer tan. Bright white sneakers keep the look grounded for daytime.

Chrissy Teigen

Chrissy Teigen tackled the city streets on Wednesday morning in an all-black ensemble that’s easy to recreate at home. Pair your glossiest leather extras with distressed denim in fall’s must-try straight-leg silhouette.

Rihanna

Rihanna turned to her usual mix of sexy and sporty at Wednesday night’s Travis Scott concert, wearing an oversize camo jacket, sneakers from her Puma collaboration and a romantic lavender lip. Echo this look IRL with a black mini dress underneath the jacket and (of course) a pretty pink pout to soften the style.

Dakota Johnson

Fresh from Venice, Dakota Johnson appeared in NYC on Wednesday in a look reminiscent of Audrey Hepburn. The silk camisole and pencil skirt combo is easy to try; just swap the ballet slipper for a high heel and grab a neon handbag, à la Miss Johnson, for a modern color pop.

Scarlett Johansson

Scarlett Johansson created a major buzz on Wednesday when she arrived at a taping for The Late Show with Stephen Colbert flaunting her post-baby body in a black leather corset. Notice how her bright lip and strappy sandal keep the ensemble from feeling too heavy for early September.
