It’s amazing how much your life can change in a year, especially if your name is Kim Kardashian West. The reality star and businesswoman moved on from her traumatic Paris robbery to launch a wildly successful beauty empire within the span of a few months and will soon welcome her third child. Tomorrow, she’ll debut her first fragrances she’s created entirely on her own (she’s had others under licensing deals in the past) on kkwfragrance.com. The gorgeous packaging has been sweeping the internet for weeks, making us wonder what inspired the crystal-shaped bottles. Well, it all stemmed from the process of calming and healing, which is what each scent is also meant to do. In a recent interview, she explained that many of her friends brought her healing crystals to help cope with the aftermath of the crime.

“Honestly, after my Paris situation, a lot of my friends would come over and bring me healing crystals, and I obviously knew what they were—it’s very LA and it’s very popular right now—but for me it meant something so different,” she explained. Kim went on to say she furthered her knowledge of different stones and their meanings by visiting crystal warehouses across Southern California.

Kim’s signature Crystal Gardenia fragrance along with Crystal Gardenia Citrus and Crystal Gardenia Oud will be available November 15 at kkwfragrance.com. Each scent will come in two sizes—30 ml for $35, and 75 ml for $60. For those who live in Los Angeles, limited quantities will be available for purchase at Violet Grey’s brick and mortar location.
