The Beauty Mistake You Need To Avoid At All Costs

The truth of the matter is none of us are perfect, and we all make beauty mistakes. Fortunately, we're here to help you avoid them. One of the most common blunders when it comes to makeup is applying products in the wrong order—putting cream formulas on top of powder is a definite no-no. This is especially important when it comes to highlighter, blush and bronzer because you can be left with streaks of pigment. Ahead, how to do it right.

Step #1: Cream Formula

First, apply and set your foundation and concealer. Dab a cream highlighter onto your cheeks to create a dewy, radiant glow. If you're satisfied with how the cream product looks, there's no need to add powder.

Step #2: Powder Formula

Following with a powder will intensify what you've already applied. Many people do this with highlighter to add radiance once their makeup is done. This also works with blush or bronzer, to set the cream formula.
