Get Festive

The Wet Look

Let your eyes do all the talking when you rock a smoldering smoky eye of glossy proportions. Line the entire eye with a black kohl pencil and smudge it with a face gloss or dark glossy shadow. Tip: Hack the look with clear lip gloss.

All That Glitters

Wearing grown-up glitter is much different than rocking it middle-school style. For this subtle nod, add a dab of glitter primer and apply just a bit of sparkle to give your eyes a pop. A hint on the center of the lid and on the inner corners is festive in a chic way.

Kiss Kiss

Glitter lips made it onto the scene when Pat McGrath bestowed them on her (lucky) famous friends via her Lust004 kit. While the set might be sold out, you can still get the look by pressing loose glitter onto a red lipstick. Keep the rest of your makeup minimal so your lips take center stage.

The Gilded Age

If you're looking for a chic way to step up your makeup game this holiday season, a metallic shadow is just the thing. Add a pop of champagne in the center of the lid and inner corners, then a touch of brown shadow along the lower lash line to take it up a notch.

Silver Sightings

Never underestimate the power of a silver accent. It makes the whites of your eyes pop and looks so modern. Apply a glitter eyeliner or pack a silver glitter over a metallic wing. Curl your lashes but leave them mascara-free and your metallic accent will get you noticed in all the right ways.

At The Disco

If you're looking to go bold this holiday season, all you need is a black liner and some sparkle. Line the top and bottom lashes from the middle of the lid outward, and create a cat eye. Dab a few specks of glitter on the outer corners and keep the rest of your makeup neutral and matte.

Mixing Metals

Mixing metals isn't just for your jewelry. Apply a gold shadow on the entire lid and line the eye with a metallic copper eyeliner. The result is romantic, beautiful and always cocktail-party ready.

Get Your Wings

When in doubt, wear a glitter cat eye. It's always unexpected in the best way. Create a wing with a metallic pencil and go over it with a liquid glitter eyeliner for the best payoff.
