This Optical Illusion Makeup Look Is Terrifying

We’re just days away from Halloween and the Instagram makeup tutorials have gotten quite impressive. Thanks to a handful of seriously creative beauty gurus, the latest in costume makeup trends is none other than an optical illusion of a floating head. Tricking the eye to see a head detached at the neck and floating above the body, this look is achieved by blacking out the neck and painting a 3D sever above the collarbone. The result: an image disturbing enough to make even the biggest horror-movie fan do a double take.
