Update (August 22): The final campaign for the Balmain x L’Oréal Paris lipstick collection has finally landed, and of course both the brand and Olivier took to Instagram to share it all. Most importantly, the photos provide a look at all the shades that will be available in the collection this fall. Which ones will you be stocking up on?
Update (July 28): L’Oréal Paris just shared a closer look at one of the lipstick shades to come. A gorgeous rose gold shade with a matte finish will be part of a 12-piece collection launching in September. There’s no word on what the price point will be, but the tubes will be available at Balmain boutiques as well as anywhere L’Oréal Paris makeup is sold. As it was reported back in May, three shades will be part of a special “jewel edition” carried exclusively at Balmain stores.

While the French house has stepped into the beauty world in terms of haircare, it was announced today that makeup will be its newest territory.
Balmain and L’Oréal Paris are teaming up for a limited-edition lipstick collection set to hit shelves of your local drugstore. Twelve shades will be unveiled just ahead of Paris Fashion Week in September. The way makeup brands roll out new products these days, it’s possible our favorite It girls will be secretly wearing the hues ahead of their launch. Olivier posted a teaser clip and photos on Instagram, and we see reds, pinks, purples and more, all of which we’ll undoubtedly be adding to our makeup bags this fall. Another plus? We officially have a way to score some Balmain without spending a ton of money.
