Nail Art Inspiration Straight From The Spring ’15 Runways

by Kate Wolfson

The trouble with spending the bulk of September ogling the runways is that by the time Fashion Month draws to a close, we’re left in a spring-style state of mind. Sadly, the lust-worthy pieces we’re craving won’t hit shelves till after the New Year. To make the waiting game bearable we’ve reimagined some of Spring 2015’s hottest prints as artsy manis you can rock right now, including the adorable eyelash design from our very own Rachel Zoe’s Spring ’15 collection. Head to the salon with nail-art inspiration in tow or go ahead and try to DIY if you’re feeling adventurous.

Burberry

Romantic Ombre

To capture the gorgeousness that strutted down Burberry's runways, paint a coat of white polish as the base then use a small sponge to create a pretty purple-to-gray gradient. The end result has a dreamy, ultrafeminine quality we love.

Rachel Zoe

Flirty Statement

We’re sure Rachel’s cheeky lash graphic is going to be an It print for spring. Be one of the first to wear it by adorning a single nail with a tiny recreation using a sparkly black shade.

Etro

Geometric Design

Geometric designs are a subtle way to amp up your nail-art game without ending up with a manicure that overpowers the rest of your outfit. Etro’s spring collection is chock-full of elegant Southwestern motifs to serve as inspiration.

Oscar de la Renta

At New York Fashion Week it became clear gingham is undeniably the dominating print of spring, as evidenced by Oscar de la Renta's fab black and white ensemble. Here, we chose two sultry shades of red to recreate the checkered pattern.
