There’s no question about it—women ruled the 2017 Grammys: Beyoncé, Lady Gaga, Carrie Underwood, Katy Perry and, of course, Adele, whose performance might just be the most-discussed of them all despite showstopping efforts from the others. The singer’s opening performance of “Hello” was absolutely flawless, but she stumbled and asked to start over during her tribute to the late George Michael. Clearly flustered, the multi-Grammy-award-winning songstress began again, showing us all how to gracefully pick ourselves up when we fall. We applaud her for her dedication to getting things right, for her vulnerability and for her immense and unshakable talent. She remains one of our most revered role models, and we choked up when we saw the loving support offered up from her peers in the audience!
