"If you're throwing a party on the beach, it's so important to create lots of shade so you can stay out of the sun and also keep drinks and snacks cold. I always bring a chic tent, stacks of colorful Turkish beach blankets and a portable speaker for music."
Pool Party
"I love to cover the lawn by the pool with giant blankets so guests have plenty of places to lounge around. I also make sure to have festive pool toys and an arts and crafts project so kids of all ages have something fun to do."
Backyard BBQ
"You don't need much to make an outdoor space feel inviting, but there are a few key components. A graphic outdoor rug, party lights and large floor cushions are fail-safe ways to make simple spaces feel luxe. Also, I always set up a fully stocked bar with gorgeous glassware so guests can make drinks outside instead of trekking into the kitchen."
