Whether you’re a sports fan or not, the ESPYS have something for everyone…some may even call it the Academy Awards of the athletic world. For those unfamiliar, the ESPYS bring together athletes and entertainers to celebrate the past year in sports, recognizing some incredible achievements and performances. This year brought about some big names including Jennifer Garner, host Danica Patrick, Alison Brie, and many more. And while we may be used to seeing them in their uniforms, we love the chance to see our favorite athletes express their own personal style through fashion and put on their evening’s best. And this year’s event definitely brought with it some memorable looks—in a good way!
Like any award show, there were a few major trends and themes of the evening in terms of style. From delicate and more subdued beaded details, to all full-out glitter-filled ensembles, the star-studded red carpet was all sparkle and glamour…and we are all about it. Classic labels like Vivienne Westwood and Dolce and Gabbana were represented, while more contemporary designers like Mario Dice and Steven Khalil made waves of their own, as well. Read on for a roundup of some of our favorite looks from this year’s ESPYS. Game on!
