We’ve been fans of the Ocean’s franchise for quite some time—however, the latest installment has had us in a fit of anticipation since we first caught wind of the all-female powerhouses that would be starring in it. Yep, we’re talking Sandra Bullock, Cate Blanchett, Anne Hathaway, Mindy Kaling, Sarah Paulson, Awkwafina, Helena Bonham Carter and Rihanna. (Is your head spinning, too?) For those not in the know, here’s a quick synopsis of the film: The plot centers around Debbie Ocean (Sandra) and her skilled team of girl bosses, who execute the the biggest jewelry heist of their careers, all going down at the ever-glamorous Met Gala. Between the diverse cast of characters and girl-powered plot, consider us sold.
In addition to the film, we’ve been eagerly awaiting the premiere as well, which unites said film goddesses under one roof. Just as we suspected, the event did not disappoint in the style department or the A-list roster of attendees. Between Sarah Paulson’s electric green gown to Rihanna’s stunning Givenchy gown, it seems we had a mini Met Gala reprisal tonight, and we’re here for it. And while the following celebs may come from different career backgrounds, they all hold one thing in common: They brought their style A-game to the red carpet.
