The First Look At Emily Blunt As Mary Poppins Is Giving Us Nostalgic Feels

We may be grown women at present time, but when we learned Disney was rebooting one of our favorite childhood films, Mary Poppins, we had a full-blown fangirl moment. The upcoming film features famous faces including Meryl Streep, Colin Firth, and Hamilton’s Lin-Manuel Miranda, but it’s been Emily Blunt filling in for Julie Andrews in the title role that has everyone a-buzz. Well, now we’ve got the first sneak peek at the actress as the beloved nanny—umbrella and all—as Disney just tweeted a mini teaser in conjunction with Blunt’s appearance at the D23 Expo in Anaheim this morning. We think she nails the look—in fact, our only complaint is having to wait until December 2018 to see her sing “Supercalifragilisticexpialidocious.”
