We’ve seen loads of gorgeous menswear-inspired flats, edgy ankle booties and ’70s-era knee-high boots on the fall 2014 runways thus far but Prabal Gurung‘s barely-there sandals have stolen the show as far as we’re concerned. Part of the designer’s collaboration with Casadei, which has been going strong since the spring of 2013, these four-strap, bell-adorned sandals are on our must-own list for late summer, when they’ll likely hit stores.
They’re a glamorous, cool update to the ubiquitous two-strap heeled sandals that have been so popular recently and we love that the jingly silver ankle cuffs look like jewelry for your feet. Plus, they’re practical too. You can wear them with jeans and a blazer for a work meeting or with a diaphanous, jewel-adorned maxi dress for a fall wedding (see: Gurung’s last three fall 2014 runway looks), and beyond.
Wear these statement sandals to a casual work lunch with a blazer (sleeves pushed up), dark lipstick and classic blue jeans.
