The Secret Weapon Behind Hillary Clinton’s Campaign Wardrobe

Hillary Clinton will not only give a highly anticipated acceptance speech as the first female presidential nominee of a major party this evening at the Democratic National Convention, but it’s safe to say she’s planning to look damn good while doing it—but not without a little help from an expert team. She’s known for donning sharp suits, bold colors and distinguished patterns, and the Democratic candidate is always super polished, as she’s received tips from one of fashion’s greatest influencers, Anna Wintour. An avid supporter of Hillary over the course of the 2016 campaign, the Vogue editrix has reportedly been a sartorial asset on several occasions, calling upon her fierce designer network to help procure ensembles for the presidential nominee (though Hillary pays for them herself). As for tonight, Secretary Clinton’s attire will likely come from an American designer, and maybe she’ll even wear a strong confection from Christian Siriano. One thing is for certain: With Anna in her corner, the sure-to-be iconic look will be discerningly sleek, elegant, and above all, powerful.
