Referred to as Los Angeles’ answer to the Met Ball, LACMA’s annual Art + Film Gala took place last night, this time honoring American installation artist Robert Irwin and Oscar-winning The Hurt Locker director Kathryn Bigelow. But considering the fact that Gucci once again sponsored the fete, the fashions that graced the green carpet — and Chris Burden’s Urban Light installation, which offered epic posing possibilities — were also stars of the show, with many of the stylish celebrities and artists in attendance wearing the label’s show-stopping designs. We’ve put together a few of the most memorable ensembles from the get-together, which was co-chaired by Leonardo DiCaprio and Eva Chow, and included a music performance by psych-pop musician Borns.
