Last night, President and First Lady Obama hosted Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau and First Lady Sophie Trudeau for a state dinner at The White House. The elegant affair brought standout looks from Michelle Obama (in a printed Jason Wu gown) and Blake Lively (in a silvery Ralph & Russo number), but it was first daughters Sasha and Malia who truly stunned, showing off an incredibly grown-up and refined sense of style. Wearing a sheer embroidered dress, cool ribbon necktie, and braided updo, Sasha embodied a youthful yet stylish look; meanwhile, Malia appeared classically chic in a strapless cream dress and natural beauty. And while we would expect nothing less from these two, considering their always impeccable mother as an influence, it’s wonderful to see how both girls have blossomed and are coming into their own as young women.
