CAES

Helen de Kluiver created CAES in 2019 with the mindset fashion doesn’t need to be fast or translated to a specific season. Thus, the founder focuses on timeless designs that will live in your closet for years. Minimalists, meet your new go-to brand. @caes_store

Connor McKnight

Based in Brooklyn, Connor McKnight is a luxury label that was born during the stay at home orders. The designer created the first collection from his apartment. The outcome: Vintage-inspired ready-to-wear that already has the fashion set’s stamp of approval.@connormcknight

Thebe Magugu

Johannesburg-based designer Thebe Magugu established his namesake label in 2019, which is inspired by his South African heritage. The young designer won the LVMH prize in 2019 and was the 2021 International Woolmark Prize finalist — meaning, you’re going to see a lot more of him in the coming years.@thebemagugu

Kalda

Kalda is a female-led shoe brand that’s handmade in Portugal. The eco-friendly footwear collection is crafted with vegan leather called BioVeg, recycled polyester from plastic bottles, and bio polyols that come from non-food and GMO-free corn crops. Add one of its unique mules, sandals, or boots to your shoe rack.@kalda_shoes

Shushu/Tong

Shushu/Tong isn’t quite new — it was launched in 2014 by Liushu Lei and Yutong Jiang. But, as of late, the Shanghai-based womenswear label is picking up steam among the influencer set (see: Reese Blutstein, Sisilia Piring, Alyssa Coscarelli). Marfa Stance

Aeron

Established in 2012 by Eszter Áron, Aeron is a Budapest-based label that aims to mold the future of artisanship in its home of Central Europe. And, as part of the brand’s mission, it keeps all of its production local. Its collections embody minimalism with a touch of flair through its sculptural silhouettes.@aeronstudio

Sindiso Khumalo

Sindiso Khumalo, a Cape Town-based designer, launched her eponymous brand with the goal to produce modern sustainable textiles. If you can believe it, the Central Saint Martins graduate designs all the textiles in her label and produces each by hand through watercolors and collage. Therefore, the abstract prints are truly one-of-a-kind.@sindisokhumalo

Ed Curtis

Created by designer and artist Ed Curtis, the namesake brand is the epitome of quirky-cool fashion. Case in point: The London-based label’s latest collection features funky smiley faces, galaxies, and stars. Think of the pieces as wearable artwork.@ed_curtis__

Porto

Porto, meaning “I carry” and “to carry” in Latin, is a New York-based brand founded by Loddie Allison. For its debut, the handbag label released its signature pouch, coming in a range of neutrals like black, dark brown, tan, and white. Not to mention, influencers like TyLynn Nguyen, Olivia Lopez, and Juliana Salazar have already been spotted wearing the bag.@porto__studio

Hannah Jewett

If you keep close tabs on trendsetters Bella Hadid and Dua Lipa’s wardrobes, you probably know about their new favorite jewelry brand, Hannah Jewett. The New York-based label produces limited-edition pieces that are so unique-looking (think: sculptural earrings, necklaces, and rings).@hannahjewett._

Marshall Columbia

If your wardrobe could use a sense of playfulness, Marshall Columbia is the brand for you. Based in Brooklyn, the former costume designer’s namesake label champions the use of bright colors, fun embellishments, and unique cutouts like no other. Ella Boucht

Upon graduating from Central Saint Martins in 2020, Finnish fashion designer Ella Boucht launched their collection. The London-based brand focuses on tailoring, which is evident through its fitted vests and trousers. Definitely keep an eye on this up-and-coming talent.@ellaboucht
