The Fourth of July is nearly here, so it’s time to start planning those outfits. Whether you’re booked the day-of or for the extra-long weekend that follows, it’s a sure bet that your calendar is filled with social events, parties, time at the beach and/or by the pool. We obviously want to make sure you’re all set when it comes to your patriotic looks. After all, there’s no time like the Fourth of July to pull out all your favorite colorful pieces. It could be the pullover with stars and stripes, the red shoes that are piped in blue or a striped bikini that screams Americana—they’re the items you’ve been wearing all summer long, but knew when you first bought them that they were destined for summer holiday glory. Lucky for us, the day of reckoning is here.

Cue The Fireworks

Check out the chicest Fourth of July looks for everything your social calendar is getting ready to throw your way. You’ll love them all for now, but keep them in rotation all summer long—we guarantee it.

For Beach Time

If you’re headed to the beach, go all-out with your patriotic swimwear. Opt for a sporty vibe, but top it with some ‘90s nostalgia by way of a cotton knit flag-printed pullover and white denim cut-off shorts.

For A Pool Party

There’s never been a better time to wear a swimsuit as a bodysuit than at your Fourth of July pool party. If you’re planning to just hang out in a lounge chair, your look will be perfection with a pair of ankle-cropped jeans and slides. But, when all your friends start jumping in the pool, you’ll be ready to join in on the fun.

For A BBQ

Opt for a dress when heading to that BBQ, but keep it casual at the same time. This is the opportunity to pair that beloved cotton sundress with some ankle-strap suede sandals. Finish it off with your favorite bold accessories and woven handbag.

For A Fireworks Picnic

Turn your hometown’s fireworks display into your very own picnic party and dress in your favorite summertime essentials when heading out at night on the Fourth of July. Grab those go-to vintage denim shorts, but amp up your look with a statement top that’s cropped just the right amount. With whimsical jewelry and sandals, you’ll have a look that you’ll want to wear all summer long.

For A Boat Ride

A day on the boat requires your best swimsuit and equally chic cover-up. You could be out for hours, so make sure your look is comfortable, yet head-turning at the same time. We love a high-waisted French bikini and white eyelet dress on top. Finish it off with a pair of striped espadrilles to get into the Fourth of July mood.
