Lifestyle YouTuber and blogger Margot Lee is all about fun accessories. “I love to finish a look with playful sunglasses, rings, and chunky sandals or sneakers (depending on what I’m doing that day),” she shares. As a result, this summer, she’s leaving her black and tortoise frames behind and looking to add more colorful options — like this pink, retro-meets-modern pick from Burberry. “I have quite a bit of pink in my wardrobe, including this skirt I’ve had for a few years but find hard to style,” Lee says. “These shades give me the perfect excuse to wear it.” Styled with a white baby tee, black sneakers, a shoulder bag, and metal belt, the outfit, like the sunglasses, strikes the right balance between vintage and now.

Content creator Tiffany Wang describes her summer style as “low-fuss, comfortable, and minimalist” — aka lots of white tanks, loose button-downs, and linen pants or shorts. Because her clothing choices tend to be on the simple and relaxed side, she leans on accessories like sunglasses to add that unexpected pop. With chunky temples and an eye-catching shape, these Prada shades “add instant drama and a touch of glam to any outfit,” she says. “Plus, they make a great statement no matter the look.” Here, they add some flair to a casual all-white outfit, but would also up the ‘wow’ factor on a black slip dress.

“I’m an avid sunglass wearer all year round, because an outfit isn’t fully complete without the perfect pair,” says digital creator Vienna Skye. “For summer, I’ve definitely been reaching for thick frames with colored lenses.” This rectangular pair from Versace adds the perfect edge to Skye’s summer looks, which mostly consist of lightweight skirts and dresses, vests, and baby tees — think Y2K for today. “Vests have the same lightweight feel as a tank top, but they give a more structured, classic look,” she says of her outfit. “At first glance, orange lenses may seem like a statement that’s going to be difficult to style, but orange works with so many other colors that are already in my wardrobe” — including this green striped skirt. “Orange and green is actually one of my favorite combinations.”
