This Creative Couple Is Leaning Into Self-Expression Through Style For Pride Month
Neon accents, snake print details, and more
For Ariana Offray and Hannah Glover, the couple behind @theangelinos_, getting dressed is more than just creating cool outfits for the ‘gram. It’s how they communicate everything from their preferences to their moods to their sense of self — sentiments that take on an even bigger meaning during Pride. “We love how [Pride] is all about expression and connection. The LGBTQ+ community is intersectional and diverse and there’s an amazing array of aesthetics and identities to highlight,” Ariana says. To show you exactly how Ariana and Hannah are celebrating their queerness through style, we teamed up with Vince Camuto for an insider’s eye on a few of their boldest looks.
Ariana and Hannah are always seeking out inspiration, whether it’s through their favorite publications or other style influencers online. “We love magazines and have a stack on our kitchen table that we look through before breakfast, so we start our day feeling inspired,” Ariana explains. Another influence? Couples dressing. “We’ve been really into how Korean and Chinese influencer [pairs] have been [coordinating] so we look for fun ways to do the same. Our individual sides of the closet are different so it’s funny and challenging to match each other,” says Hannah.
With that in mind, Ariana and Hannah’s outfits really played up their coordinated styles. For their first look, the two were initially drawn to Vince Camuto’s range of jumpsuits. Ariana styled hers with the Nivenda Slides, which she paired with a bright pink tote as a nod to summer. To complement Ariana, Hannah leaned into a similar silhouette in a muted army green, accented with a snake printed Bonne Crossbody Bag and chic Pemolie Wedges.
For their second looks, the couple decided to switch things up. Hannah chose the bright green Aleya Square Toed Mules — a heeled version of Ariana’s Nivenda slides from the first look — and paired them with the neon-accented Lena Tote. Ariana toned things down with a neutral combination of khaki, crisp white, snake print, and sky blue.
As diverse as their closets may be, the two have a mutual appreciation for their differences. Ariana considers herself a quiet person, so she turns to her wardrobe as a way to feel seen. “She has a strong sense of self,” Hannah says. “She likes a certain silhouette and plays with color and patterns within those [parameters]. Seeing that helped me rediscover myself.” Conversely, Hannah considers herself outgoing but struggles with identity, so she uses her sense of style to express the most truthful version of herself. “Hannah’s enthusiasm, energy for life, and optimism comes through in her style, and that’s what inspires me the most,” says Ariana. Based on these looks, it’s fair to say the inspiration goes both ways.
